Golf Courses - Villa Tara

The Arabella Country Estate is considered to be the best new golf course in the Western Cape. It was opened in 1999.

Sketched by Peter Matkovich and situated in a breathtaking environment with the beautiful lagoon and river. The Estate is close to Hermanus.

The golf course is very difficult and has very exciting holes.

Somerset West (18 Holes, Par 72)

This Course is designed by Gary Player and situated under the majestic  summits of the Hottentot Holland Mountains.

It's location makes it one  of the most delightful places in South Africa. In 1996 the Golf World  Championship was held here.

From the last 9 holes you have a wonderful  view over the False Bay coast up to the Cape of Good Hope.

In the midst of hilly wine fields this 18 hole masters course (1999  South African open) lies. Stellenbosch is the university and viticulture  centre of the Cape.

The very beautiful course is 6149m long, Par 74.

The Paarl Golf Club is one of the most popular Clubs for Golfers around  the Cape. A pictorial course with old and exotic trees and maintained  greens. Perfect for the passionate Golfer from Europe. For beginners and  players with high Handicap this "fair" course is very pleasant.
